Pregunta a Clínica Veterinaria Happy Pets

I am writing from a veterinary clinic in California, USA. We have a client flying to Honduras October 23,2015. What are the requirements for pet dog import into Honduras?
Is there an import permit issued by the Honduras government? Is it issued prior to the flight or does the client need to choose a veterinarian in Honduras that will meet them at the airport and provides this permit? Please help. Thank-you Lisa
